How I Got Here
My love for animals and helping others shaped this passionate character with wild ideas. From a young age, I’ve always had a deep sense of empathy for all living beings.
Growing up, animals were a big part of my life, so it’s no surprise that my professional journey started with them as well. It was my own dog Jade who inspired me to dive into dog training. I found myself facing the challenges of having an animal companion that desperately needed guidance and wanted to communicate with me what she needed from me. This ignited a fire within me to understand the intricacies of canine behavior.
In 2007, Jade and I embarked on a journey to The National K-9 School for Dog Trainers in Columbus, Ohio. Six weeks later, we returned to New Jersey with newfound skills and a deeper bond.
Jade crossed the rainbow bridge in 2021, but our time together was filled with remarkable achievements. She appeared in the short, Sheltered, and even made an appearance on Conan O’Brien for a Beverly Hills Chihuahua skit.
I’ve since broadened my skills beyond dog training and pet care to holistic health and wellbeing for animals and their humans. In my work through the years, I’ve discovered that the bond we share with our animals goes beyond just companionship. It’s a deeper connection, where we exist in each other’s energy field, mirroring each other, and ultimately healing each other.
Jade was my soul companion and her legacy continues to inspire my work every day. I’ve continued to gain knowledge and experience through various certifications and trainings; allowing me to offer comprehensive support not only to animals but also to the humans who love them.
